Fasol Menin (UK) provides a direct home service for our own award wining Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, plus other selected Veneto wines

Our Prosecco is made at the new purpose built winery in the foothills of Valdobbiadene and is provided exclusively to private and trade members - you won't find it in an off-license or supermarket! Our wine production is tightly controlled and only a limited quantity is produced each year. We are proud to offer our DOC Prosecco in both Extra Dry and Brut variants. Prosecco is enjoyed at its best when fresh and our aim is to ensure that our members receive Prosecco straight from the winery..........

Fasol Menin (UK) [Hopscotch Enterprises limited] is a family based business operated by Katy & Stuart Colmer. In 2001 Stuart found himself 'trapped' in America as a result of 9/11 and with two young toddlers at home questioned his lifestyle choice. As a result after 15 years in international industry, Stuart took the decision to leave the corporate ladder and start his own business ventures that allowed him to spend the majority of his time in rural Northumberland with his family.

Stuart and Katy operate a number of businesses including a management consultancy, specialising in business strategy and growth for SMEs and an award winning eCommerce business ( www.pedalpusherslimited.co.uk ) specialising in high quality goods for children.

In 2005 Stuart and Katy brought the experience of these two ventures together, when they were approached by long-time friends Massimo and Silvana deNardo, who had recently constructed a brand new winery in Valdobbiadene and started production of a Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOC. Stuart, Katy, Massimo and Silvana agreed to work together to develop a European eCommerce model to provide direct delivery of the Prosecco to the wine consumers home, avoiding the middle man and offering fresh quality Prosecco with value pricing. The UK business which started in Q4/2006 is the first part of this model to come to life!

Fasol Menin (UK) offer you the chance to enjoy the Prosecco Brut and Prosecco Extra Dry. The wine is a Spumante VSQPRD and has 9 grammes of sugar per litre for the Brut and 14.5 grammes of sugar per litre for the Extra Dry. Since its debut in 2005 the Fasol Menin Prosecco has been awarded a Silver Medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition 2006 and was commended in the Decanter 2006 Wine Awards. Recently, the Fasol Menin Prosecco was chosen by Fiat to support their 2007 launch of the new Fiat Bravo in Rome .

Stuart and Katy reside in rural Northumberland with their two children Jack (8) and Eleanor (6) and operate Hopscotch Enterprises Limited, S2S@Work Limited and Pedal Pushers Limited.
