| The ASDW return once again to Canons Ashby in Northamptonshire to continue the highly successful series of wine tastings in convivial elegant surroundings Both events offer an ideal opportunity to taste ASDW members' wines from around the world, many of which are unavailable elsewhere in the UK. The the June event will be the ideal opportunity to stock up on great summer wines, whereas the November tastings are ideal for purchasing your Christmas wines. You can also take the time to visit the National Trust owned Canons Ashby House, a beautiful Elizabethan house with fabulous gardens and a ruined medieval priory church. The feedback from National Trust Staff and visitors to previous events has been excellent. One visitor said to Siân Watson the Property Administrator of Canons Ashby House that she used to often visit National Trust's Waddesdon Manor to buy Rothschild wines. But ASDW's wines were better at a much better price. Nice feedback indeed. |

| Wokingham Wine Festival | |

| The Wokingham Wine Festival is an exciting wine event where wine-lovers can come to taste and buy fine wines supplied by members of the ASDW (the Association of Small Direct Winemerchants). ASDW members offer between them a huge range of fine wines from around the world. The event is organised by the ASDW, the Thames Valley Region branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Wokingham Round Table. It's a charity event, and profits from the sale of tickets goes to the Mutliple Sclerosis Society. The Wokingham Wine Festival is a 2-day event, and is being held in the Main Hall, upstairs in the old Town Hall, in the Market Place in the centre of historic Wokingham over the weekend of Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 December 2010. Tickets are £5 per person per day - more details to be announced in due course. |

The ASDW Annual Press and Trade Tasting took place
at the Atlas, Seagrave Road, close to Earl's Court on Wednesday
3 March 2010. Ten ASDW members were present to show a wide range
of wines, mostly exclusive imports, from small growers from such
disparate wine producing areas as South Africa, many regions of
France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Germany.
